Was versteht man unter bedingungslosen Grundeinkommen? 

Das Bedingungslose Grundeinkommen ist eine alternative Finanzierungsmöglichkeit des Lebensunterhalts durch den Staat. Dieses BGE erhält jeder unabhängig von Bedingungen und entsprechenden finanziellen Bedarf. Auch eine Gegenleistung muss nicht erbracht werden. Im Gegensatz zu Sozialleistungen oder Grundsicherung soll das Bedingungslose Grundeinkommen ohne Prüfung der Einkommensverhältnisse aus gegeben werden. 

Des Weiteren soll die Höhe des Grundeinkommens so gewählt werden, dass dieses den Lebensunterhalt sichert und eine deutlich höhere soziale Teilhabe möglich macht. Dieser Ansatz würde eine klare Gegenposition zum auf Leistung setzenden Sozialstaat und der strängen bürokratischen Kontrolle die damit einhergeht markieren. 

Zudem gibt es zahlreiche unterschiedliche Modelle wie ein Bedingungsloses Grundeinkommen ausgestaltet sein könnte und keine klaren Vorgaben, die dies nach sich zieht, aber wichtig ist meiner Meinung nach hier besonders der Verzicht auf eine Bedürftigkeitsprüfung. Somit besteht die Möglichkeit sich durch das Grundeinkommen vielleicht sogar, ohne finanzielle Probleme ein Nebeneinkommen aufbauen zu können.

Durch die Corona-Krise geraten zahlreiche Arbeitgeber und Arbeitnehmer in eine finanziell schwierige Situation und spüren womöglich extreme wirtschaftliche Folgen. Viele sehen die Corona-Krise als ein geeigneter Zeitpunkt für die Einführung eines Bedingungslosen Grundeinkommens. Als ein weniger geeignetes Instrument sehen jedoch Politiker und Wirtschaftsexperten das BGE. 

Kürzlich teilte das Bundesministerium für Arbeit bezüglich den finanziellen Maßnahmen gegen Corona mit, dass „Bei der Entwicklung von Maßnahmen wurde darauf geachtet, dass diese geeignet sind, in der aktuellen Situation schnell, unbürokratisch und zielgerichtet zu unterstützen. Das bedingungslose Grundeinkommen erfüllt diese Kriterien nicht.“ (Bundesministerium für Arbeit) Also würde das Bedingungslose Grundeinkommen keine schnellen und zielgerichteten Hilfen möglich machen, höchstwahrscheinlich spielt auch eine Rolle, dass die Einführung des BGEs  noch einige Vorarbeit benötigt wird damit das bedingungslose Grundeinkommen wirklich wirksam eingesetzt werden kann. 

Der Verein “Mein Grundeinkommen” sieht in der aktuellen Corona-Krise die Möglichkeit die Debatte über das Grundeinkommen wieder mehr ins Bewusstsein zu rufen. Das bedingungslose Grundeinkommen würde nicht dem Zweck der Armutsbekämpfung dienen. Jedoch würde die Krise bewusstmachen, dass das deutsche soziale Absicherungssystem zu kompliziert sei. (vgl. BOHMEYER, Mein Grundeinkommen)
